The State of Southern Chester County

Conversations for Compassionate Change Leadership Series

Did you know that over 28% of the residents in Southern Chester County (over 11,000 households) are unable to afford basics, forcing them to make impossible choices and risky trade-offs every day?  Join United Way of Southern Chester County for a community conversation about how non-profits in our area are serving the needs of our neighbors who find themselves struggling to keep their own households from financial ruin, oftentimes while keeping our local community running.

Panelists, including Ronan Ganon, CEO of LCH Health and Community Services, Dr. Katie Bowman, Executive Director of New London Counseling Center, and others will be discussing the state of Southern Chester County with a special emphasis on how our area non-profits are helping to meet the needs of those in the A.L.I.C.E. (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) population.

We invite you to participate in a crucial dialogue about the State of SCC and the needs of residents in our community.

This event is FREE, however, we would appreciate if you would register here (coming soon).

We will be meeting at the Kennett Library.
