Be A King - Volunteer Fair

 

 

Greetings!

 

We are delighted to invite you and your organization to the “Be A King” Volunteer Fair, held immediately following the 25th Observance of MLK Day at Kennett High School on Monday, January 19, 2026. This event is a wonderful opportunity to connect with potential volunteers, share your mission, launch our local America250 celebration, be part of the 31st Annual King Day of Service and recruit dedicated individuals to support your cause.

 

Event Details:

  • Date: Monday, January 19, 2026
  • Time: 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm
  • Location: Kennett High School
  • Theme: "Lift Every Voice 1776-2026"
  • Setup: Each organization will be provided one 8-foot table and two chairs.

 

Why Participate? The “Be A King” Volunteer Fair offers a unique platform to:

  • Engage directly with community members eager to learn about your organization.
  • Showcase your mission, programs, and upcoming volunteer opportunities.
  • Recruit enthusiastic volunteers for both current and future initiatives.
  • Share materials, giveaways, and resources to increase awareness of your work.

 

Visitors will have the chance to explore a diverse range of Chester County nonprofits and service organizations, meet representatives like you, and discover ways to get involved and make a difference in our community.

 

If your organization would like to host an information table at the Volunteer Fair, please submit the "Be A King" Volunteer Fair Application here or on our website no later than December 31, 2025.
